Mr. Stewart died in his home at 1408 42nd street April 1. The Rev. J. Jasper Freeman officiated at Mr. Stewart’s rites. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home. Mr. Stewart, a Mason, was a native of Crewe. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Piccola Stewart; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Breckenridge of Norfolk, Mrs. Catherine Corbin of Princess Anne and Mrs. Viola Smith of New York; four sons, Walter Stewart of Baltimore, Vernal Stewart of New York City, Clarence Stewart of Stewart, NY, and Harrison Stewart Jr., of Norfolk; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Higginbotham of Nantucket, MA.
