Stewart, died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at a Norfolk hospital. She was one of the best known women in South Norfolk and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She was a daughter of the late Edward Pigott, and in addition to her husband, is survived by three children, J.E. and J.W. Roach and Mrs. Ruth Carlisle and brothers, E.S., J.C., L.W. Pigott and sister, Mrs. H.L. Gammon, all of this section, and J.T. Pigott of Washington, D.C. The body was taken to the residence, 125 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk. The funeral will be conducted at the residence Friday afternoon and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia cemetery.
