Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, August 4, 1994 
Milton Stiff Sr., of the 1200 block of Coltrane Drive, a retired electronics
mechanic, died Aug. 2, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Stiff was born in Norfolk and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Rework
Facility. He was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville in
Portsmouth, the Male Usher Board, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 27, Deep
Creek Elks Lodge, and was an Army-Air Corps veteran. He was a graduate of the
two-year electronics trade program at Norfolk State University.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Stiff; two daughters, Carolyn McMillian of
Portsmouth and Claudia Jordan of Hampton; a son, Milton Stiff Jr. of Lanham,
Md.; a sister, Hazel Corprew of New York City; a brother, Samuel Stiff of
Norfolk; and three grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk,
by the Rev. Calvin James and the Rev. Charles Springs. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . Friends may join the family at the residence.
