Norfolk Virginian November 22, 1891

DEATH RELIEVES SUFFERING -- The many friends of Mr. Chas. H. Stimpson will be 
pained to learn of his death, which sad event occurred last evening at his 
residence on Second Street, at 6:15 o'clock, in the 54th year of his age, of 
cancer of the bowels.  A widow, two children and other relatives here are left 
to mourn his loss, and to them we extend our sympathies.  The funeral will 
take place this morning at 11 o'clock from St. Thomas Episcopal Church, of 
which he was a member.  Magnolia Cemetery will be the place of interment.
