Mrs. Stith, who resided at 629 Landing street, was the widow of Charles A. Stith and the foster daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. D. W. Byrd of Norfolk. She was a graduate of Dixie Hospital School of Nursing in Hampton and was a member of St. John AME Church and its Shut-In club. She also was a member of the Woman’s Club of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in B. F. King Funeral Home on Church street, here. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The services will be conducted by the Rev. A. R. Powell, pastor of St. John. Survivors include two foster sisters, Mrs. Wilhelmena Byrd Brown of Pittsburgh, PA and Mrs. Florence Byrd Duke of Petersburg; and a nephew, Atty. Byrd R. Brown of Pittsburgh.
