Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, February 12, 1993 
James ``Doc'' Stith, 51, of the 1000 block of Anderson St., owner and operator
of Stith's Janitorial Service, died Feb. 10, 1993, in DePaul Medical Center,
after a brief illness.

Mr. Stith was born in Norfolk County.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda F. Stith; one daughter, Brenton J. Stith; two
sons, Javon B. Stith and Gary Hyman; two sisters, Shirley Butts and Louise
Bland; four brothers, James Douglas, John Douglas, Charles Douglas and Thomas
Douglas; and an aunt, Ella Louise Davis.

A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be
in Calvary Cemetery
