Virginian-Pilot November 5, 1952
Walter James St. Lawrence, 23, husband of Mrs. Gloria Fay Perrie St. Lawrence 
and son of John T. and the late Mrs. Winifred McTiernan St. Lawrence, died at a 
Norfolk hospital yesterday at 1:40 p. m.
Mr. St. Lawrence was a native of Sayville, Long Island, N.Y., and a resident of 
this section nine years, residing at 138 11th Street, East Ocean View, Princess 
Anne County, at the time of his death. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church, Ocean View, and the Apprentice Alumni Association and was a veteran of 
World War II.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Gloria Fay Perrie St. Lawrence, he is survived by his 
father, John T. St. Lawrence, of Norfolk; five brothers, John, James and George 
St. Lawrence, all of Washington; William St. Lawrence, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., 
and Joseph St. Lawrence, of Saffren, N.Y., and a number of nieces and
nephews.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church for funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held in the funeral chapel Thursday at 
7:30 p.m.
