She is survived by a brother, Walter S. Jenkins, of Norfolk, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stoakes was a native and lifelong resident of this city and the widow of John W. Stoakes, a veteran of the battle between the Monitor and Merrimac. She was an aunt of Mrs. John R. Anderson, who, with Mr. Anderson, made their home with her. Mrs. Stoakes was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
