Mrs. Blanche Lynette Ewell Stockley, 73, widow of William J. C. Stockley and 
daughter of the late William Lemuel and Mrs. Cordelia East Ewell, a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Friday night at 11:10 o'clock at the 
residence, 713 Raleigh Avenue. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Annie Ewell, of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. V. J. Lawler, of Baltimore; three brothers, W. L. Ewell, of 
Washington and Charles F. Ewell and Garry P. Ewell, of Norfolk, and several 
nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments Monday morning at 11 o'clock with the Rev. Jason L. 
MacMillan, D. D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs. 
Stockley was a member, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
