The Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 10, 1937
George Henry Stockdon, aged 21, died yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at the home 
of his mother, Mrs. Martha Kirby Stockdon, 47 C View avenue, Ocean View. He was 
a son of George H. and Mrs. Stockdon and in addition to his parents is survived 
by two sisters, Martha Kirby Stockdon and Hope Carroll Stockdon. 
The body was taken to the J.R. Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake avenue, 
South Norfolk, pending funeral arrangements.

Pallbearers at funeral were Anglus Freitas, George Woodhouse, Kenneth Jones, 
Otis Robinette, Charles Luck, Richard Gatewood, Jones Savage and William A. 
Williams, Jr.
