Virginian-Pilot December 28, 1957
NORFOLK - Michael Lee Stoffer, four-year-old son of James O. and Mrs. Delores Van 
Vleck Stoffer, of 9342 Ewing St., Norfolk, died at 12:45 p.m., Thursday, at the 
U.S. Naval Hospital, Portsmouth.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
George B. Hodge, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Stoffer, and an 
aunt, Vicki Lynn Hodge.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, for funeral services today at 9:30 a.m. Burial will 
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
