Virginian Pilot May 3, 1973

Mrs. Rosina Stokes, 83, formerly of 800 Gates Ave., the widow of George E. 
Stokes, died Wednesday in a hospital.
She was a daughter of Paul N. and Mrs. Rosina Schmus Wright. She was a member of 
First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, the Rev. George E. Stokes Jr. of Georgeton, Del. and P. 
Wright Stokes of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Karl E. Kraemer of Norfolk; 12 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. 
Andrew R. Bird Jr. of First Presbyterian Church.
