He was ten years of age. The funeral will take place in the residence Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. ***************************************************************************** The funeral of Montfort D. Stokes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Stokes, was solemnized from the residence of his parents, No. 437 Freemason Street, at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. U.B. Thomas, of Emmanuel Episcopal Chapel, assisted by Rev. C.L. Bane, of Cumberland Street Methodist Church. There was a profusion of magnificent floral tributes. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Eddie Jakeman, Ollie Rhea, Edward Parker, Raymond Eastwood and Myer Stern. Flower bearers: Holland Backus, John Daily, Fred Nelligar, Joseph Baecher, Robert Eaton, Josiah Stern, Lawrence Stern and William Young.
