NORFOLK - Max Stoler, 77, of 742 Washington Park, husband of Mrs. Sophia Stoler and
son of Meyer and Mrs. Anna 
and son of Meyer and Mrs. Anna Stoler, died Sunday at 5:10 p.m. in his home.
A native of Lithuania, he lived in Norfolk 42 years. He owned and operated 
Standard Leather Co., was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation, a former m
member of the board of directors of the old and new Temples, and a member of N
Norfolk Masonic Lodge 1 and Khedive Temple.
Beside his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Bress, Mrs. Jack 
B. Kesser and Mrs. Samuel Minsberg of Norfolk; three brothers, Eli Stoler, 
Benjamin Stoler, and Jerry Stoler of Baltimore; seven grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts today at 3:30 p.m. 
Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
