Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 24, 1915

Mrs. Sarah Stone, aged 53 years, died yesterday morning at 3:45 o'clock at the 
residence of her daughter, Mrs. Sidney Farrow, after an illness of four months, at 
the old Poindexter residence, Sandy Point, South Norfolk.  Mrs. Stone was a 
daughter of the late William and Sarah A. Clarke, natives of Petersburg, and had 
lived eight years here, where she was well known and esteemed.  Mrs. Stone is 
survived by two children, Mrs. Farrow and W.T. Stone of this city.  The funeral 
will be conducted at the residence this afternoon at 6 o'clock and burial will be 
in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
