Stone were conducted August 19, at the Grace Protestant Episcopal Church. The Rev. B. W. Harris officiated. Mrs. Stone died August 16 at her residence, 1031 Rowland avenue, after a long illness. Many floral designs were sent by organizations and friends. Pallbearers were Oliver L. Davis, William D. Pope, W. C. Fulford, Robert G. Moseley, Herman Harris, and Oscar Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence T. Stone, a son, Corporal Lawrence W. Stone of Keesler Field, Mississippi; three daughters, Mrs. Lula Proctor, Mrs. Rebecca Mabin, and Miss Emma Stone; and a granddaughter, Clemmie Proctor, all of this city. Burial arrangements were made by Riddick Funeral Home, and the body was interred in Calvary Cemetery.
