Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark October 31, 1928

Frederick Bernard Stosser, aged 63, died yesterday afternoon at 2:05 o’clock at 
the residence, 312 West Thirtieth Street. He was a native of Norfolk County, 
and had been a resident of this city for 50 years. Besides his wife Frances 
Benton Stosser, he is survived by one sister, Miss Elizabeth Proescher, and a 
brother, William H. Clark, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at the 
residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev J.T. Riddick, D.D., pastor 
of the Baptist Tabernacle, of which he was a member, will officiate. Interment 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery
