Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 26, 1912
STOYETT --At the residence of his son-in-law, R.L. Whitehead, 626 Woodis avenue, 
Monday, November 25, 1912, at 6:30 a.m., LUTHER STOYETT, aged 59 years.
The funeral will take place WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, November 27, 1912, at 2 
o'clock, from the above residence.  Friends of the family invited to attend.

The funeral of Luther Stoyett was held at the residence, Woodis avenue, at 2 
o'clock p.m. yesterday.  The service was conducted by Rev. B.A. Robinson, of 
Colley Memorial Presbyterian Church and Rev. George W. Swope, of Central Baptist 
Church.  The interment was in Riverside cemetery, Berkley ward.
The following were the pallbearers: J.E. Copeland, John J. Stakes, W. Mott, H.T. 
Minter, W.S. Sykes.
