Norfolk Virginian November 21, 1876
                                   DIED.
At the residence of its parents, on Friday, November 17th, at 2 p.m., after a 
brief illness, MARTHA FRANCIS (sic), youngest daughter of Henry and Amanda 
Strawhand, aged 2 years, 2 months and 20 days.
Its funeral was preached from the residence of its parents, No. 89 James street, 
Sunday afternoon and the little lamb was laid gently away to rest till the 
Saviour shall call it to His bosom at the last great day.
          Dearest Martha, thou hast left us,
          We thy loss so deeply feel
          But 'tis God who has bereft us,
          He can all our sorrows heal.
          Yet again we hope to meet thee,
          When the day of life is fled.
          Then in Heaven with joy to greet thee,
          Where no farewell tear is shed.
