Jean Noesser Stronski, 84, passed away Oct. 18, 2003 at St. Francis Nursing Home 
in Newport News. She was the wife of Cmdr. Edmund J. Stronski, U.S. Navy retired.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Anthony Morris and the Rev. Gerard Schreiber. 
Internment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive 
friends Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with a 
Christian wake to begin at 7:30 p.m.
