Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, November 5, 1995 
McLloyd R. ``Herman'' ``Pops'' Studivant, 58, of the 600 block of Westover Ave.,
died Nov. 1, 1995, in his home. He was a native of Brunswick County, Va., and
was a retired disabled veteran.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary Winfield of Norfolk and Margaret Johnson of
Houston, Texas; four brothers, Melvin Studivant, Jerome Studivant, Frank
Studivant, all of Norfolk, and Leroy Studivant of Chesapeake; and a host of
other relatives and many friends.

His funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by Dr. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at 2043 Midway Ave., Chesapeake, at noon Monday for the
funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling the
arrangements.
