Sturgess, Aged 69 Years, Got Piece of Food Caught in His Throat Yesterday Morning--Died Quickly While eating breakfast at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Albert J. Gray, 602 West Brambleton avenue, yesterday morning shortly after 10 o'clock, Mr. James K. Sturgess was attacked by a fit of coughing, caused, it is said, by a particle of food becoming lodged in his throat. Assistance was hurriedly rendered him by his relatives, but the violence of the attack was such that he never rallied from it and died at 11:30 o'clock, about an hour after being taken with the coughing spell. Mr. Sturgess was in the 69th year of his age. His funeral will take place from the above address at 4 o'clock this afternoon. At the Gray residence last evening only the most meagre of details could be secured regarding the aged man's death.
