Jackson, Jr., of Norfolk, and Mrs. H.E. Mallette, of South Norfolk; a son, W.H. Sturgis, of Norfolk, eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Mr. Sturgis was a native of Bridgetown, Northampton County, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 56 years. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, the Men's Bible Class and the Extension Department of the church. The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Trinity Baptist Church for funeral services tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
