Styles of 207 W. 31st St., a native of Moyock, NC, and the son of Cora Blankenship Everett, died Friday in the 2600 block of Church St. He was a retired, 20-year employee of International Longshoreman’s Association, Local 1248. Other survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Styles and Sharon Ann styles, both of Norfolk; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Graves Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Julius Cooke. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at 1006 W. 38th St., the home of Eliza Horne. (an obituary listed in Feb. 4, 1985 newspaper listed these survivors in addition the above listed: sister Marcella Styles of Marion, MD; a brother, Frank Styles of Chicago.)
