Virginian Pilot October 15, 1907

Miss Ethel Syron, 17 years old, died last evening about 6 o'clock at the home of 
her stepfather, Mr. Thomas, in South Norfolk, after a brief illness.
She had been suffering from an attack of pneumonia but a few days.  The funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.

               Funeral of Miss Styron

The funeral of the late Miss Adolpha Styron, who died at the home of her 
stepfather, L.M. Thomas, Monday evening, will take place at the grave in 
Magnolia Cemetery this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.  Rev. C.S. Lingamfelter, 
pastor of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
