Virginian-Pilot, September 20, 1956
NORFOLK - Mrs. Ida Sugerman, 81, widow of Hyman Sugerman, died yesterday at 10
10:30 a.m. at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Gordon, 129 Shenandoah Rd
Rd., Hampton.
Besides Mrs. Gordon, she is survived by one son, Abe Sugerman, and a grandson, H
Harmon Weil Gordon, all of Hampton. She was a member of the B'Nai Israel S
Synagogue of Norfolk. 
Services were conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts yesterday at 4 p.m. by 
Rabbi Joseph Schecter and Rabbi Israel Bornstein of the United Orthodox 
Synagogue. Burial was in B'Nai Israel Cemetery. The pallbearers were Leonard 
Roberts, J. W. Jacobson, Joe Gordon and Sam Kilman.
