Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, August 16, 1991 
Pearl Suggs, 85, of the 300 block of E. Olney Road, died Aug. 12, 1991, in a
Chesapeake hospital.

Mrs. Suggs was born in Sumter Hill, N.C. She was a member of Greater
Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Margaret S. Boone of Suffolk; a brother,
William Carter of Plainfield, N.J.; and three stepgrandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. today in Greater Metropolitan A.M.E.
Zion Church by the Rev. Joseph Lamb. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
