Virginian-Pilot August 10, 1957
NORFOLK - Mrs. Eleanora Gertrude Sullivan, widow of Daniel J. Sullivan, died at 
5 a.m. yesterday at a Norfolk hospital. Mrs. Sullivan was a native of Richmond 
and had been a resident of Norfolk for 35 years, at 3839 Beach Ave. at the time 
of her death. She was a member of the Sodality of Blessed Sacrament Church and 
was active in work at the American Cancer Society.
Surviving her are a step-son, Daniel J. Sullivan of Norfolk; a step-daughter, 
Mrs. Nellie Coli of Richmond; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-
granchildren.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church for funeral services Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments Sunday 
at 7:30 p.m. The family will be at 300 W. 37th Street.
