Mr. Sulton was born in Cayce, S.C. Survivors include his wife, Donnie D. Sulton of Indianapolis, Ind.; a daughter, Mary E. Sulton of South Carolina; three stepdaughters, LaBrentha Anderson of Indianapolis, LaShunn Anderson of Greenville, S.C., and Ellen Cooper of New York City; a son, David Sulton Jr. of East Orange, N.J.; a sister, Hattie Western of Woodbridge, N.J.; two brothers, Henry L. Sulton of Columbia, S.C., and Roscoe Sulton Jr. of New Haven, Mich.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Magnolia Cemetery by the Rev. Mary Staks. Twilight Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
