Virginian-Pilot, December 21, 1955
NORFOLK - Mrs. Bertha Sutton, 70, wife of Isaac Sutton and daughter of Sam and 
Mrs. Gertrude Spector, died in Richmond yesterday at 12:15 p.m.
She had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years, and for the past eight years h
had resided in Richmond.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sol Goldstein and 
Mrs. Meyer Mand, both of Norfolk, and three grandsons. She was a member of the U
United Orthodox Synagogue.
Funeral services will be conducted at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts today at noon 
by Rabbi Joseph Schecter of the United Orthodox Synagogue and Rabbi Paul Reich, 
D.D., of Beth El Temple. Burial will be in Khal Chasedim (B'Nai Israel) 
Cemetery. The family will be at 4607 Newport Avenue.
