Norfolk Virginian April 9, 1895

A telegram was received from Baltimore yesterday, announcing the death in that 
city of Mr. Thaddeus Swank, formerly of Norfolk, but for the past twenty years a 
resident of Baltimore, where for a long time he was connected with the Adams 
Express office.

The body of Mr. Thaddeus W. Swank, formerly of Norfolk, who died in Baltimore, 
arrived here yesterday and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. Dr. T.G. Jones 
conducting the service at the grave.
