Virginian Pilot, Wednesday, Sept. 9,1959
Norfolk - Robert A. Sweeden, 90, 2870 E. Princess Anne Rd., died Sunday at 11:20 
a.m. at his home after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Robert A. Sweeden Sr. and Mrs. Rebecca Sweeden.  He 
was a native of British West Indes and had lived in Norfolk 60 years.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ Holiness.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Diadem Sweeden.

The body was taken to the Graves Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 
conducted at the First Church of Christ Holiness Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. 
O. W. McInnis, pastor.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
