Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, December 18, 1996 
Cavanaugh B. Swift, of the 700 block of Dunn Place, died Dec. 15, 1996, in his
residence.

A Norfolk native, Mr. Swift was a member of United House of Prayer, Norfolk.

Survivors include his parents, Margaret Swift and Benjamin Swift Jr.; sister,
Celestine Harris of Norfolk; brother, Robert Swift Sr. of Norfolk; four aunts,
Virginia Swift and Vivian P. Swift, both of Norfolk, Lillian Holloway of
Virginia Beach and Shirley Harris of Atlanta; a sister-in-law and a host of
nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in United House of Prayer by
Apostle William Scott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home
is in charge. The family will be in the residence the day of the service.
