NORFOLK - Julia Delk Swift of the 600 block of Goff St. was called home to be with 
the Lord March 2, 2009, at home. Julia was born in Norfolk to the late Samuel and 
Elsie Delk. She was a member of the United House of Prayer for All People. She 
worked more than 40 years for the Norfolk Diagnostic Center. 

Mrs. Swift 's funeral will be held Saturday at noon in the United House of Prayer, 
1204 Church St., Norfolk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be 
Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. A wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home, 
1225 Norview Ave., Norfolk. Riddick Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
