Swords, 48, of 2315 Aspen St., lost at sea Feb. 24 from a merchant ship off Japan, will be held March 22 at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church. Swords, a native of Carrabelle, Fla., entered the Merchant Marine after serving in the Navy. He was the husband of Mrs. Ann R. Swords and a son of John H. Swords and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Golden Swords of Carrabelle. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William W. Young, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Henry Lee Eyler, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Tate of Forest City, N.C., and Mrs. G. W. Watson of Bradenton, Fla.; and three brothers, Ulon Swords and Ronnie Swords of Florida and Elbert Swords of Houston, Tex.
