Mrs. Emma Sykes - Funeral services for Mrs. Sykes, 812 Joyce street, were held
Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Holy Temple Church with the pastor, Bishop Howell,
officiating.

Mrs. Sykes is survived by her father, John Brown; step-mother, Mrs. Addie Brown;
one brother, William Palmer; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Peterson and Miss Annie
Brown.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Chatman Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
