Norfolk - Mrs. Pinkey M. Sykes of 1424 W. 45th street, the wife of Cornelius 
Sykes, died in her home.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Bettie 
Nelson.

She was a member of the Senior Choir of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point.

Besides her husband, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Betty S. Burks of Norfolk 
and Mrs. Ruby S. Harris of Washington;  and six grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
