SYKES DEAD William Harvey Sykes, one of the best known young men of the ward died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of his brother, Ernest Sykes, 111 Westmoreland Street, after a lingering illness of several years. The deceased was a native of Mount Pleasant, Norfolk County and was a son of the late G.A. and Mrs. Marina Sykes and was 32 years old. The funeral will be conducted from the above residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The interment will be private. *************** SYKES - At the home of his brother, Ernest Sykes, 111 Westmoreland Street, March 28, 1911, at 3 o'clock, WILLIAM HARVEY SYKES, aged 32 years. The funeral will be conducted from the above residence THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Funeral private. **************************************************************** The funeral of the late William Harvey Sykes was conducted from the residence of his brother, Ernest Sykes, 111 Westmoreland Street yesterday afternoon. Rev. W.T. Green, pastor of Memorial M.E. Church, officiated and the interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: Messrs. J. Vernon Borum, Archie Grinalds, S.L. Spratley, W.W. Cox, G. Herman Williams and W.W. Colonna.
