Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 4, 1913

SYKES - In the Hygeia Hospital, Richmond, Va., on Tuesday, June 3, 1913, at 
9:30 o'clock p.m. BASCOM SYKES.
The boy will arrive in Portsmouth at 11:30 o'clock this morning over the 
Chesapeake & Ohio Railway, and will be conveyed to his late residence, 312 
North St.
Arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.

The funeral of Bascom Sykes, who died while under treatment at the Hygeia 
Hospital in Richmond, Va., at 9:30 Tuesday night, announcement of which was 
made in these columns yesterday morning, will be conducted from the 
Monumental M.E. Church this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
Following the services in this city (Portsmouth) the remains will be removed 
to Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley ward, Norfolk, for interment.
