SYKES - At residence of son, George F. Sykes, No. 114 Cumberland Street, 
February 25, at 2:40 p.m., BENJAMIN A. SYKES, age 77 years.
His funeral will take place THIS (Friday) at 4 p.m. from above residence. 
Friends and acquaintances invited to attend. Please omit flowers.

                            Death of An Old Citizen

Mr. B.A. Sykes died yesterday at 2:40 p.m. at the residence of his son, Mr. Geo. 
F. Sykes, 114 Cumberland Street, aged 77 years. His funeral will take place form 
residence today at 4 p.m. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. At 
request of family flowers will be omitted.

The funeral of Mr. Benjamin A. Sykes took place from the residence of his son, 
Mr. Geo. F. Sykes, 114 Cumberland Street, yesterday at 4 o'clock and was 
conducted by Rev. Dr. W.G. Starr, of Cumberland Street Methodist Church. The 
interment was at Elmwood.
