ReDella Alyda Sylvia, 80, of the 1200 block of River Oaks Drive, died Sept. 23, 
1998, in Norfolk.
Born in Rochester, Minn., she was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul B. Sylvia; two daughters, Faith Ann Pearce 
of Norfolk and ReNae Adele Zayas of Hillsborough, Calif.; a brother, Sherman 
Simonson of Sargeant, Minn.; and four grandchildren, Jimmy P. Pearce, Richard 
Zayas, David Zayas and Buffie Gambirazio.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery 
by Fr. R. Francis Muench. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. A 
Christian Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral 
Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
