Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 22, 1965
Norfolk - Funeral services for John Tabb of 1337 Anne street, who died May 
15 in a hospital, were held in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by the Rev. F. P. 
Wise on Wednesday.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Wheeler Funeral Home 
in charge.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late William Tabb and Mrs. Mariah 
Tabb and the widower of Mrs. Annie Mae Tabb.  Mr. Tabb was a member of Mt. 
Lebanon and International Longshoreman’s Union Local 1248.  His survivors 
are a brother, Nathaniel Tabb of Portsmouth, and a sister, Mary Bazemore of 
Norfolk.
