TAGGART, widow of J.S. Taggart, aged 75 years. Notice of funeral later. **************** Mrs. Nancy B. Taggart, widow of the late J.S. Taggart, died at 9 o'clock last evening at her late home, No. 229 Lovitt Avenue, aged 75 years. Mrs. Taggart's sudden demise will be mourned by many friends, which she had made during her long life. ************************************************************************ The venerable and respected Mrs. Nancy B. Taggart, relict of the late Mr. J.S. Taggart, departed this life suddenly at her home, No. 229 East Lovitt Avenue, Brambleton, at 9 o'clock Friday night, at the ripe age of 75 years. The deceased was a lady whose life was adorned with many Christian graces and the announcement of her sudden demise has been received with expressions of deep sorrow by a large circle of friends who knew her only to love. The funeral will take place from the residence Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Virginian Pilot December 9, 1900 ************************************************************************* The funeral of Mrs. Nancy B. Taggart ,widow of the late Mr. J.S. Taggart, who departed this life at her home on Lovitt Avenue, was solemnized from the residence at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the presence of a large gathering of friends and relatives. The services were conducted by Rev. W.R. Proctor, of McKendree M.E. Church, assisted by Rev. C.E. Woodson, of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: A.J. Newton, Julian Russell, H.O. Billups, A. Mercer, J. Cross and J.W. Barbour.
