Virginian Pilot June 12, 1991

Edith Winifred Tait, 89, formerly of Norfolk, died June 8, 1991, in a retirement 
home.
Miss Tait was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Norfolk. She attended a 
photography school and art school in New York City and operated a photographic 
studio in Montreat, N.C. She was the author of a travel book and a collection of 
devotional poems.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. J. Shepherd Russell. Information was provided by H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
