Anna McCarrick Taliaferro, 99, died Monday, Jan. 27, 1997, in her daughter's home.

Mrs. McCarrick was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Sue and Joseph 
McCarrick and the widow of Maj. Phillip P. Taliaferro, U.S. Army.

She is survived by her daughter, Tobby T. Wilson of Key West, Fla.; and her eight 
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 27, 1997, in Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church, Norfolk at 10 a.m. by Father John J. Dorgan. H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
