Talliaferro, who died February 16, 1904 Oh Willie, how I miss you No tongue on earth can tell, Since you were taken from me In our Savior’s arms to dwell. I live a life of sorrow And mourn you night and day. I miss your sweet and smiling face Since you have been called away. But, Willie, I hope to meet you In that bright world above, Where the angels are always singing Their songs of sweetest love. My heart is crushed and broken, Our home is lonely now I cannot hold your loving hand Or soothe your fevered brow. But our kind and loving Saviour, He knew it was the best, And took you from this world of care To have eternal rest.
