The Virginian Pilot Monday February 5, 1968
Mrs. Mary Byrnes Tall, 86, of 1323 Norcova Drive, the widow of Edgar A. Tall 
and a daughter of Thomas and Mrs. Bridget Fenton Byrnes, died in a hospital 
Saturday night.
A native of Petersburg, she lived in Norfolk most of her life.  She was a 
member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charlton H. Harris of Norfolk; a son, Fenton 
A. Tall of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Charles Diani of Norfolk; a 
granddaughter; and a great-grandson of Norfolk.  The body will be taken from 
Twiford Funeral Home, Norfolk, to Christ the King Catholic Church for a 
funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
The Office of the Dead will be recited in the funeral home tonight at 7:30.
