Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 4, 1939
Edgar A. Tall, aged 53, husband of Mrs. Mary L. Tall and son of the late Mr. and 
Mrs. Columbus Tall, died yesterday at a local hospital.  Mr. Tall was a native 
of Baltimore and had been a well known resident of Norfolk more than 40 years.  
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Besides his wife, he is 
survived by one daughter, Mrs. C.H. Harris, of Fairport, and one son, Fenton A. 
Tall, of Norfolk.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, 
pending funeral arrangements.

Edgar A. Tall - The body of Mr. Tall, husband of Mrs. Mary Barnes Tall and son 
of the late Capt. C.A. and Mrs. Jennie Price Tall, who died Friday at a local 
hospital, will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 10 
o'clock.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Rosary services will be held at 
the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8:30 o'clock.
