Graham came in the harbor with her flags at half mast and investigation revealed the fact that her master, Capt. Columbus A. Tall, had died of heart disease, Thursday night about 9 o'clock, while on the way to this port. Capt. Tall was well-known in shipping circles and highly respected by all who knew him. He was originally from Baltimore, but for the last fifteen years he has been in the employ of the Greenleaf-Johnson Lumber Company and for the past three years has commanded the schooner Graham. His remains were removed from the vessel by Undertaker Cox to his late residence on Montalant avenue. His funeral will take place this afternoon from the Chestnut Street M.E. Church at 3 o'clock. ************************************************************** The funeral of the late Capt. C.A. Tall took place Sunday afternoon from his late residence and was conducted by the Rev. H.N. Quisenberry, of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church and interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery. Berkley Lodge No. 167, A.F. & A.M., of which the deceased was a member, turned out in a body to pay their last sad respects to their deceased brother. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Messrs. J.C. Simpson, Clarence Dunn, Charles B. Gibson, I.O. Diggs, Capt. Story, Capt. Charles Early, Wm. Harris and Capt. Davie.
