Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, November 29, 2007 
NORFOLK - Lillie Mae Tanner , 93, of the 7000 block of Auburn Ave., departed
this life Nov. 27, 2007. Born Dec. 7, 1913, she was the daughter of the late
William and Fannie Tanner.

A native of Norfolk, Lillie Mae was predeceased by her son, Lewis I. Holloway
Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lillian; three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by one of her nine siblings, Eva Carter; two granddaughters, a
host of nieces, nephews and one special granddaughter, Lilieous who stood by her
until the end.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the New Rose of Sharon Missionary
Baptist Church, 3001-A Indian River Road, Chesapeake. Interment will be held in
Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
